Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window
An aircraft carrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The jet touched down based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson said in a social media post.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to Brussels during the flight.
This incident is not the first time that a United States armed forces jet transporting a senior official has experienced equipment failures.
In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane carrying Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to return to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical fault.
